Interview with The Rapaces webseries director Thibaut Toskian

Last week I got the chance to interview the independent filmmaker Thibaut Toskian, director of the Low-Budget webseries The Rapaces. The story was written by Thomas Mansuy. Then Thibaut not only directed, edit and produced the film, but he also mixed the sound and did the main camera; while his brother Hugo did the 2nd camera. Thibaut is now writing a feature film and working on the pilot of another webseries: Working title: “Z”.

Watch here the first episode of The Rapaces Webseries “HANGMAN”, then learn something from his interview below!

Cameraman: Tell us a bit more about yourself and what do you do?

Thibaut: I’m a French filmmaker and a web-marketer: half the time I’m busy being the e-marketing manager of BOAKI Online, a multiplayer video game for children, which is great AND leaves me a few days a week for moviemaking. I also get the chance from time to time to mix my two activities when directing commercials and corporate videos. Read more

Motion Control Timelapses

I found a lot of fantastic timelapses on the web and I thought it would be nice to have some of the bests in just one post. This is a selection of the best timelapses of the web. Most of them use motion control equipment like the Kessler Oracle Control System, the DitoGear OmniSlider, the Dynamic Perception DollyEngine or the Motiontimer. If you would like to propose another timelapse let me know and I’ll add it.
